another Audio Interface suggestion thread... specs inside!

Re: Using the Akai MPK-25 Controllers with Live
Hey, the SL MKII works fine. It's 360 knobs are programmable in both the standard control mode and in Automap. The problem with the Akai knobs is that they only do one thing, go from one amount to another. If it gets to the max, it does not send any further signal, same as with the minimum. It just...

Re: Using the Akai MPK-25 Controllers with Live
I had the same concern about the rotary encoders a couple of months ago when I bought my MPK25. I've written both to Akai and to those who created to software for the presets, I've written to Ableton, I've written to every forum regarding Ableton Live and to any certified trainer I could find on the...

Re: Novation Twitch
some features are interesting, but there are way better dj-controllers (both for controllerism and djing) out there... the NI S4 controller, Reloop Jockey 3, Dj-Tech Hybrid 303... BUT... those are mainly thought for Traktor... I've never used The Bridge, and this could be a good controller for it, ...

Re: pay it forward (your unused equipment)
I've also done this with an old guitar of mine. it didn't have any strings on and a minor piece missing. I was trying to sell it for 50€ even if it was worth way more, just cos I didn't care about fixing it and I already have too many. a friend of mine saw it and loved it, since I knew he had an rea...

Re: newbie wana be
I guess you could use a permanent marker, but it will fade away after a short while. trust me, try and learn your way on the keyboard. learning which note is which is only matter of time, and at least knowing by heart the position of the notes on the keys will save you some time when you play and co...

Re: newbie wana be
so you only want to have the letters (C, C#, D...) written onto the keys of your keyboard? there should be stickers for that kind of things in musical store a I guess, or you can go get some stickers with letters at a stationary. anyway that will not help you to learn in an easier way, it might even...
