Re: computer keyboard computer
RTFM *edit: Coming off too harsh Make sure you can hear audio coming out of your speakers without the keyboard. You should hear previews of the samples and presets playing when you select something in the browser. Make sure your track is armed which contains your instrument. Make sure the little key...

Re: Any known way to edit a max for live preset file
If it’s an xml file you’d probably be best off using a Diff Merge tool to edit and replace a particular phrase in the file(s) and retain the same file encoding. Re: Is it possible to trigger "Delete Automation" in max for live?
If the control can be automated the control should have a unique ID. You just have to come up with a way to point to that ID and then the function clear_envelope. Something like selected_parameter (might be named slightly different, memory is dodgy) could get you the ID for running the clear_envelop...

Re: analog
Use two oscillators and set one oscillator an octave above the other. This will make it so when the one is low and "ticking" the other will be in a smoother less "ticking" range. Also use the lowpass filter to remove some of the high frequency "ticking". If you have the...

Re: Ableton's GUI Lagging extremely hard
1 issue to check: Are you using an external display with a usb c to HDMI adapter? I had bad lagging until I switched to a Display port adapter instead. Apple adapter and 3 others all lagged on HDMI. The lagging would happen whenever I was using the above adapter along with a Max4Live LFO with the d...

This looks like it could be useful in certain situations. Twister presets that can be changed on the fly. They are a great feeling set of knobs after all

Re: Best "on stage" midi looper for Live?
It’s hardware though.
It has a foot pedal input for use with 2 switches which can be assigned to whatever button presses you like.

Overbridge Pattern Clips M4L Device for Elektron Overbridge
Really simple patcher here. https://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/5710/overbridge-pattern-clips Name Clips with the name of the pattern (i.e. A1..A2...F9...H16.. etc..) When you select the clip the pattern changes on the Elektron Device This also sends the pattern change "early" so tha...

Re: Anybody having troubles logging into their account on the main Ableton.com website?
But of course, that's how it always works! Glad you're back in business. New computer? Thanks! Old computer actually. I finally have a dedicated music space in my house and I was getting tired of moving my laptop around and hooking up everything when I wanted to work on music. I was going to buy a ...
