I have been rendering AIFF 16 bit mixes on my PC, and I see that each time that happens, and additional icon appears on my desktop which is a "aif.asd" file.

Sounds like there are two MIDI keyboard tracks. One in the lower register and the other-higher is more active in terms of filters etc. My guess is that you could do this easily (the "high" / changing synth) with Operator... by automating filter parameters. myspace.com/ChristophersonExperie...

Found these (thanks to this forum), and I see there appears to be a doc in the first file, but it will not open on my PC (win 7). I open Live and go to "install Live packs" but Live does not "see" the packs, as it does with Ableton packs. http://www.christiankleine.com/Site/rando...

Octave up and/or octave down?

Traditionally, the thinking is that a separate drive is needed for music files (pro tools, etc). But I am looking at new laptops now, and 95% of them just have a single "main" drive (350 gigs is common). Would that create any problems with Live? I have a laptop now which has two drives.......

It becomes an "instrument" inside of Live, right? I want be sure it is easy to use in Live.

Anyone have any comments on this? I plan to use it within Ableton. I am assuming campatability will not be an issue.... that i will use it like any other Live instrument.
