Hi Thanks for the answers guys. Tap tempo is not really a viable solution as I would have to record (audio) my playing to another device and then tap into live while listening to the recording (a bit long winded). Clip envelopes will allow different clips to adjust individual parameters of an effect but I don't think they allow you to switch effects on and off. When an effect is assigned to a track is it possible to turn the effect on or off by selecting different clips in the track.
