Why don't you go away and use FL instead?

Use "Finder" , it helps you to find all Live 5 files in your hard drive and just do a "drag and drop" to the trash.

I was getting those CPU spikes/glitches with Live 5.01 but when updated to 5.02 they're all gone...no problems at all.

I think it's a problem with the new drivers of the firewire audiophile, not with the firewire port on the laptop. I've used an Ibook G4 (OS 10.3.9), a firewire audiophile, Live and Reason with no problem until I updated the driver from version 1.0 to 1.5 . That caused a crash on my midi setup. Still...

Assign the parameters of the mixer to a midi controller, and that's it...works in arrangement and session view.

Use the vocoder of Reason "rewired" to a track in Live.

An UC33e, a Trigger Finger and an Oxygen 8 do the job for me.
