Re: new to Ab9 and need a little help

It's like, asking for someone if they have jumper cables when your car won't start, then adding "and don't be a dick about it" to the end.

Re: Audio and Midi Timing Problems with External Gear

Hey man, I've had issues with midi timing but not like this. I just tried to run through what you described - created a quantized midi clip, sent that midi to an external synth, Volca keys in this case, then recorded the resulting audio back into another track. The timing was right on, check it out ...

Re: Using external hardware synth and mixer

How about using one of the insert jacks? Connect the synth to channel whatever, run a stereo to dual mono out of the insert and to the Apogee, and connect your monitors to the mixers main outputs. Then your signal passes out of the mixer, through ableton, and returns back to the mixer with whatever ...

Check out the website. http://www.soundcreationinteligence.com Tell me how the site comes off to you First thing I'd suggest is that you should consider fixing your link. 8) The gray on black text just below the first image "Liquid effects are just the tip of the.." is super low contrast ...

Re: Building My Home Studio....

Hey man, you're probably going to want to move those monitors if you've got a mechanical drive in that iMac. A few years back I had one of my monitors right up against my computer, a G5 Power Mac, and vibrations put out from the speakers ended up corrupting the hard drive. I don't know for sure that...

How about the chord plugin? It comes with Ableton.

Do you already have Ableton or are you just considering switching from FL or something?

Re: Mac system opinions, please

From the Apple site: These Mac models are compatible with OS X El Capitan: iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) So, I'm assuming I can just upgrade to latest and greatest first thing, then install software...? My wife has a mid 2011 2.7 core i5 with 12gb of ram. It's running el-capitan and I do not envy that m...

Re: One year lost

So sorry to hear that man. I haven't been in that exact situation but we've had our house broken into, and our cars on numerous occasions. It's definitely a rotten feeling when someone violates your space like that. I hope you're able to recover from it soon. ps. I'd suggest getting a cheap little e...

Re: Arturia Minilab

thinking about buying one. I'd suggest hitting up the Arturia support forums before pulling the trigger. I have a BeatStep Pro, works fine and I actually really love the thing. Got the V Collection which I feel kind of "meh" about, but it was like $100 for a bunch of virtual instruments f...

Dude posted this in May of 2013, he's still waiting to hear back from Arturia.

Once every 3 months he gets an automated "Your message is important to us. Click here to buy V-Collection 4, Mostly Working Edition, for only $79." email.
