Re: Making a basic controller script

Making a basic controller script

In Bitwig I have made a script that maps the 8 KK knobs to any device loaded via device panels - and it can do that over several user pages of the device panel if it has more than one and automatically switch to whichever device has focus if there is more than one device in the same channel. It woul...

Re: Live 10 where are the presets for Electric?

No these originally came with Electric (I think back to Live 8 ) - anyway I would have thought they would show up if I added them myself to the devices folder but there doesn't seem to be any way to refresh the library

I'm also seeing no drum racks - is this an additional install?

Live 10 where are the presets for Electric?

Why does Electric now only ship with a few patches for Piano and Keys, where are the rest (used to have lots more keys as well as lots of experimental and mallet sounds)? I tried copying them over from Live 9 to the core content folder inside the Live application (on Mac you can open it up) but it s...

Latest update is impossible

It just sits in the dock for ages doing nothing when I start it up - I can go and make a coffee and it might be open by the time I get back, plus it takes ages to close too. What has happened?

Re: Post your most obscure Ableton Live knowledge

I first posted this one over 10 years ago (worked it out my first day with Live as I'd been used to using a similar method with graphics plugins in Painter) so probably this is more well known now: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=44049&start=0&hilit=shortcuts+aliases these ...

How to return track colours to the original colours?

Since the last update everytime I open Live the tracks are automatically coloured in some garish colour, is there a way to stop it doing that and to tell it which colour to use for tracks? (Ideally I want it how it used to be)

Isn't this just a new version of Soundflower (but no longer free)?

Re: Chromaphone2 - demo sounds amazing . . .

What Chromaphone 1 had over Collision was the ability to couple the 2 resonators which greatly increases the amount of sounds it can produce. Chromaphone 2 adds microtuning, better noise filter bank and a LPF filter, a new drumhead model and much better performance features, it's well worth the upda...

Doesn't it have its own power supply?
