you can see the absolute value by resizing the arrangment view, click and drag the clip view down so less of it is showing , this way you can see both the clip and arrangement view at once.

to set the default velocity value of a given clip, click the pencil, click to make a new note in the clip (but dont let go and hold it), then drag up to 127, now the default for new clips will be 127 for that clip.

it's maybe a setting on the keyboard itself, like there may be a LOCAL only setting on....or it could be a midi cable, or midi port issue

I dont know if theres a way to do that....but to get some or most of them identical,right click, quantize settings, change to whatever time signature you want, click both the start and end buttons, click 100%, this will quantize some the notes to the length youwant

what you mean by convert? you mean group into a drum rack? to do that, right click the impulse and select group to drum rack

when you hit the keyboard do you see the yellow box light up, or the yellow circles in the track box? if you don't then there is a problem with your midi cable, or it could be you have something turned off on the keyboard itself, like there may be an internal only switch, so no midi messages are bei...

If you launch a clip, it will start to play when you launch the clip...if you want it to launch 2 bars into the future then wait two bars into the future. If you want to have it launch 2 bars into the future but you want to cue the launch at the tpresent moment....then change the global quantization...
