Re: Kontakt 4 vs Sampler.

Honestly I think they are a bit apples and oranges. Kontakt is incredible for reasons already mentioned, but it certainly takes its toll on CPU usage. Sampler, while simple, is great for basic everyday sampling. With my live set I have several hundred Samplers in racks to do drums and it uses about ...

Re: HOW TO SYNC TWO COMPUTERS RUNNING ABLETON?

Since a few years now, its been very unstable. What we do instead is using Nudge. Like a DJ you can beatmatch each other. One starts, the second cues with metronome etc. Using midi sync is just crazy. Bpm jumps all over the place. Better forget about it, or youll go mad. I dont expect it to be fixe...

Question about M4L and Pluggo devices

Hello all. I am in the market for some new fx plugins and while I've certainly found some that I like, I have a nagging sensation that anything I want can be done/has been done for M4L. So I'm curious and a can really find a good answer for this from searching on the web, but what Pluggo/other plugi...

Re: Operator and Analog

do you usually get your own synth sounds? No offense, but what does this even mean? As long as you don't open up a preset and change nothing, then sure you are getting "your sound." If you are playing Operator or Analog and you can't get "your sound," then sorry mate but it's no...

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.

Whenever I'm using a instrument rack, and I have an instance of External Instrument in the list of patches that is mapped to its own individual portion of the Chain Select, and I have another instrument from Live within that track, something strange happens. Normally whenever you select the a part o...

Re: Great 28 inch monitor for $300

I've got this monitor and it is legit. Really bright! Not the best monitor if you do a a lot of visual work because the blacks aren't a true as their supposed to be, but every other monitor in the size is like $1000+ so wwho gives a shit.
