For that your would need a device that puts a MIDI Start Signal on its own on top of the incoming MIDI Clock stream. Good news: such devices exist. Bad news: they are mostly boutique or DIY. The Alpha Juno only takes SysEx messages to change its parameters, correctly spotted.

Right-click on the grid size number (should be 1/1 for you) in the bottom right corner of the editor, select your desired grid size.
Ctrl/Cmd + 1/2 can be used for moving through the grid sizes.
