Someone mentioned doing something like this in another thread and I tried it out and it seems to work but it may take me some time to get it to a usable point. Here's what I did. I took a drum loop and put it into simpler. I found the note where if I played it for a bar, the entire loop would go th...

Emiliana Torrini

I hear her first album was a little trip-hoppy but Fisherman's Woman is absolutely wonderful. Acoustic-based but contains very subtle electronics as well.

Girly and sweet and wistful.

Cheers guys. Yeah, I've downloaded the Dummy Clips Tutorial and already use them for automating other things while playing 'live' but I thought I saw somewhere (possibly in the tutorial?) that now with Vers. 6 you can automate using Macros as well? Or something like that? Maybe I'm just over-complic...

Best way to automate effects on a 'live' audio input?

Hi guys, I'm going to try routing a 'live' microphone signal through Live and would like automate an effect, say a delay, so that it's on for the first 3 Bars and then switched off for the 4th Bar of a 4 Bar loop. What should I use? Dummy Clips? Automate Macros? Route the 'live' channel to another c...

P.S. Just as a shout, Track Team stuff is great too and just waiting (finger taps...) for the Coverts... I dont think they are. The samples sound so cold and dry. They sound as if they come from your average VSTs. As a sound developer company I think they need some new sound designers with the expe...

Live 6: Doesn't remember 'Recent Sets'

Hi, Live 6 doesn't seem to be remembering my 'Recent Set' after I shut down the program. I just checked 5.2 and sure enough under 'Open Recent Set' there's like 10 or 12 sets/projects still listed (haven't used it in over a week). Live 6 remembers the sets/projects during each session so to speak bu...

The fight would go something like this: ...and the fight goes on....... and on........ and on........and on........ That has GOT to be the best 'Is your cup half-full' review I have EVER seen. As perfectly stated as Glitch could make it, YOU have to decide. This goes down to the judges and you have...

Vers. 6: Is MidiPipe still necessary?

Hi guys,

In Vers. 6 is MidiPipe still necessary to send Midi out to Reason or have they implemented things differently now?

Cheers,

Now I wanna see how the new browser affects me. Play with the sampler And read about the nifty little bits and bobs...
