Want to upgrade to Live 7, but am also thinking of getting Sampler..

I just want to cut up samples, by assigning one sample to C3, one to D3 etc and cut them at different points, and using the loop points bckwrds/frwds etc..

Anyone using it?

Sorry my fault!! I think I was dragging a external EFFECT to do the External Instrument!! I now have the right plug in (Ext Ins) but still have a couple of questions... So the "external effect" hasnt actually changed from Live 6 then? its just the "instrument" that is new?

hi can i assign the mouse wheel to zoom in/out? or use the arrow keys to zoom in/out? i can change the layout and key shortcuts but cant find the one to assign to scroll wheel or even the zoom in/out? Also is it possible to nudge events/tracks by frames or bars with a key shortcut in live 7? In Acid...

ok thanks - have tried that but its a bit long winded, and the "transpose to all siblings" didnt work at teh start, then pitched the other simplers at different pitches to the root key that i was working on? Wouldnt it be easier to have a single macro knob to do the whole batch of simplers...

Just trying the live 7 beta and its amazing! However been cutting up loops etc with the new "Slice to Midi track" feature that exports all to simplers. There are the Macro controls to control ADSR etc for all the samples/slices on all the keys, but is there a pitch?? how do you select 1 x ...
