Re: Mixing in mono on a single speaker?
Should I still use a Utility to convert my signal to mono first, or should I use some kind of stereo to mono cable? No, do not convert to mono inside Live. Anyone listening in mono these days is listening to a stereo source on a mono playback device like a Bluetooth speaker or a cheap radio. I've b...

Re: Exporting from Ableton Live 10 Lite
Of course you can render and export audio with Lite.
Are you trying to export as video or as audio?

Re: Transport MIDI mappings?
Why are not using the setup as described by Arturia in the manual? The transport controls should all work fine if you do.

Re: Transposition and Mapping Issues With Ableton 10 and Arturia Keylab 61
Make sure you are not selecting "All" as MIDI input on your tracks.
Select only the MIDI port for the Keylab's keyboard as the input and not the second port used for DAW control. See if that helps.

Re: Can I Pitchbend midi?
Then you don't pitch bend more than two semitones using MIDI.ProximoMusic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 10:37 pmHello,
I am using BBC Orchestra from Spitfire Audio and it does not have a pitch bend option. What do I do then?
Contact Spitfire and ask them about any possible under the hood option to change the pitch bend range.

Re: is ableton just a toy, not a full-fledged digital audio workstation?
Maybe you should not ask the same question three times when you want an answer  Bussing return tracks is not latency compensated in Live. Not really an issue for reverbs and delays, definitely an issue with modulation effects. It is what it is. -- Every single DAW in the universe can do someth...

Re: Combine 2 Korg NanoKontrol2 devices
See the section on Takeover Mode in the manual. Set it to Value Scaling and faders and pots will act more like rotary encoders, starting at the current parameter value and changing it in the direction you move the control. It's not WYSIWYG like motorized faders.

Re: KOMPLETE M32 to control Ableton Live 10.1
All the KK keyboards are designed to control NI's own synths and third party NKS-compatible synths but not built-in instruments on any DAW. You're limited to MIDI mapping for now, which is very limited.

I've heard rumors that some of the new security features in Mac OS Catalina will break Rewire, this may have something to do with the change.

Re: It;s a good time to be a Live & Reason user....
Having to flip back and forth between two separate arrangements was always one of the biggest downsides of ReWire. It’s not like Reason’s bare bones sequencer has any special features that aren’t matched or beaten by whatever DAW you plug it into. What about working up a sketch inside Reason and th...

Re: It;s a good time to be a Live & Reason user....
I missed the part about Rewire being dropped...really? That's a drag because with Rewire you can still use Reason's sequencer if you like. The plugin is VST3 only, AU is promised by year's end for Logic/Mainstage/Garageband people. Good thing Live now has VST3 support... The sweetest deal is that th...

Re: Ableton - Make my MIDI sequence monophonic
Um, the receiving hardware device already has either a fixed algorithm for which note gets priority when two overlap or can be set to choose between high-note, low-note, last-note, etc. priority. Read the manual. This is how MIDI is supposed to work...the receiving device always chooses how to respo...
