Can't open 10 month old project in Live 9

Hi

I Try to open a 10 month old project, and Live just freezes. I tried the 64bits and the 32 bits versions, but Live is not opening the project.

I also downloaded Live 9.1.10 from the archive download site, and still doesn't work.


I copied the project on a friend's laptop, and there it opens. I saved the project as another name, still won't open in my computer...

Any ideas why my computer refuses to open it?

Do you have Live in High Standards mode? If so, you should have gotten the “This track just isn’t that good” popup before it locks up.

I found it: Live isn't able to open the plugin Guitar Rig 5 anymore...

Now all my projects with GR5 don't open anymore...

Can't wait for a fix?!?

Try uninstall and reinstall the plugin.

I have had the same issue with UltraReverb on a few tracks and once I knew the plugin you can simply remove the dll from the plugin folder to prevent it from loading. An uninstall and reinstall may fix the issue.
