Re: Live 9 Performance Test
- I've been wanting to upgrade for some time now as my laptop is 3 years old. I would prefer something smaller and lighter but nothing comes close to its power.
- I would love the new MacBook 12" but it would be so weak in comparison... Maybe the new 13" Pro? Anybody compared the 13" and 15" much?
- I've been advised to wait as the MBP is due a redesign this year.

Re: Live 9 Performance Test
That's a proper desktop replacement, no need for a tower with that performance! I hope the new MBPs are similar..M-bition wrote:@mafromusic

I figured out how to overclock my desktop:
4.0 - 7% with max tracks 277 @ 91% .
4.2 - 287
General responsiveness after around 70% cpu is pretty bad on my end, sluggish gui, redraw etc. Maybe it's just my system.

getting a lot of glitches on projects that were previously ok on Win 7 so decided to run this test again - as you can see something has went wrong since i upgraded to windows 10 ! 42% versus 12% before ... 64 bit Live has been ok for me as well as 96.2, have only noticed detrimental performance since upgrading to 10
anyone able to help?
edit: updated my UFX driver, 27% was the highest peak i noticed but i dont like the way the meter is bouncing around, never used to do that
guess ill go and update whatever other drivers i can update
