OK here's the situation. I'm running Ableton Live 10 Lite through a Focusrite Scarlett 2io interface. I'm trying to record a direct bass line and an amped bass line at the same time but it will only allow me to arm one track at at time. What is the work around?

Or if you own Push(2): press and hold the record button on Push(2) and select the tracks with the coloured buttons under the screen.......

Thanks you I will try that on my next day off. I've got drums and keys already done. I'm kinda just getting started with this and an doing a project just to learn the basics. Even though I didn't get anything recorded I did come up with 4 bass lines for the same loop so I can get some variation.

It's not SHIFT, it's CTRL (PC) or CMD (Mac). Same for the solo button. You can also change the settings for these buttons in the Live's preferences >> Record Tab.
