Hello to all,
I've been trying a Live setup that would benefit a lot from a dedicated Live controller like Push, Launchpad or APC. But then I realize that having an iPad I could use it as the controller, using applications such as Touchable, Sonic Logic and many others, being this a much less expensive option. The question is that I also use the iPad on the setup as a software instrument, for synths, drum machine, whatever.
I don't see how I can in a practical a quick way use the iPad for both situation at the same time, meaning this at the same time during the same setup. As someone here gone through the same problem and somehow found a reasonable solution that it didn't come to my mind?
Thanks in advance. Cheers!

You can't see both apps at once of course, but it's easy to 4 finger swipe back and forth between them if you wanted.

I haven't had an iPad in years. Do you know if is it possible to switch to another app but keep the other app running in the background?Tarekith wrote:You can't see both apps at once of course, but it's easy to 4 finger swipe back and forth between them if you wanted.

Definitely, but it depends on the app in question too, they have to support it. But this is the way things like Audiobus and IAA work now.

The "4 finger swipe back and forth" is a good advice. I guess it's the best thing we can get on this situation. I'll try it and see how it goes and feels.
By the way, what is IAA?
Cheers!

Inter App Audio, a way to use plug apps in programs like Auria, Cubasîs, or BeatMaker2. Still early days and a little buggy, I still prefer Audiobus for this kind of stuff.
