+ 1 for the Microkorg

I’ve not got one and I know a lot of people don’t like them but I’ve seen so many bands that have one and use it, it’s bound to be a classic.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs

LCD SS

To name a few.

the lemur. now that it's end of life, it will remain a big "first" in the history.

faders smooth too.

Disagree on this one, i guess it will never be understood as a milestone or anything. Would have agreed if you took the PMC-05 as it first introduced those faders and became somewhat like a standard mixer for quite some years in its Mk2 and 3 versions. Already regret i sold my mk1 05 to a friend, but it still works perfect. After all the 06 is just the small 05 and if i remember right ecler came with first with a small version mixer.

i second the the microkorg, it already is, but the lemur (?) and the Yamaha A5000 (?), the yamaha came out by the end of the hardware sampler era and will never be able to compete against those classic akai S950 - 2000 in terms of a classic piece of hardware. This stuff shaped the music of the time.

As always, just my subjective 2 cts.

Definition of classic includes a thought that you're still able to use it after given period of time, in this case 10 years, and that it's still delivering something that other similar range products won't. Lemur will be neither in 10 years, I think, but in case you want to correct me, do it gently, please.

Minimoog Voyager OS.
Not in 5 or 10 but maybe 20. It will be the only type of Minimoog Voyager without midi that will still be in working order by then.
