31 band eq plug?
anyone recommend a good ableton friendly (mac) 31 band eq plugin? the kind that visually emulates the old school rack style eq...
The MAC has this built in !!! All MACs come with Apple studio quality Audio Unit plugins... go to your live browser... go to the plugin folder in your browser, look under "Audio Units", under that look for "Apple", and then look for "AUGraphicEQ" ..... presto !

thats what i ended up doing, was just hoping for some quick firsthand experiences/references to speed up my chase.
for instance, the tritone classictone is a cpu hog i've found out so far, the URS A10/N12 and DUY31 demos all require ilok drivers.
so for the mac, that about does it, not a lot of options for graphic eq's.

The apple AU is great, how about you judge sound before optics? Or are you a video guy?mech000999 wrote:thats what i ended up doing, was just hoping for some quick firsthand experiences/references to speed up my chase.

the Urs stuff you can buy blind, if you have the money, then you get top notch audiophile quality.
