I was actually offended, as here in Philadelphia they had just run a story about a 108 year old woman who had voted today.

I'll admit it, I cried during both McCain's concession speech and Obama's acceptance speech. I was incredibly proud of being an American... and i'm a big baby.

Nice speech, Obama is a poet
Ill bet he sends out a huge wave of positivism throughout the whole world.
Even i felt it :D

And for some odd reason, this song played in my head all night long

An amazing night for the world!

It feels good...my whole block was out, black, white, mixed, gay, straight

shooting fire works, yelling, screaming, honking horns

awesome

It's really cool we're all here, in this moment to experience this together - even if we live 1000's of miles apart

and yes, I have even more respect for McCain than I did before his concession speech

Bravo Obama, it's a great day to be alive

Yeah man, can you tell your neighbors to keep it down, we're trying to get some sleep here in Lake City

Seriously though, does this mean I no longer have to listen to America bashing on the Ableton forums? Really?

Please?

What an emotional night...

I'm still trying to grasp that its over and we won. I truly believe Obama is a once in a lifetime president and his every speech is inspiring.

A year ago i would never have believed it would be possible in this country to elect an African-American candidate. To be clear... this is not why I voted for him, but as a bonus, I feel blessed that we broke one of the greatest barriers in the process of electing this great individual.

What a great time to be alive and how great it is to witness this.

To everyone sick of all the political postings in a music forum, sorry for the intrusion but this subject has dominated what has meant the most to me, especially in recent weeks and now I'm just glad to be able to rejoice in the fact that it ended in a way I previously only thought possible in dreams.

Such a great night and now its time to finally sleep. 8)

McCain, did give a classy speech. I hope he gets to live out his life in a gentle way.

I was so excited to hear President Elect Obama.

Anybody curious to meet up in Washington DC, come January. Send a PM. Maybe we can swing it.

I'm in Florida, so if you too, that = A+

I'm proud of my country, and I was proud to have been a part of it!

This was the first step, and we made it happen...

Everyone I was around was in tears... I still feel completely numb, out of shock, but who knows... maybe I'll cry myself to sleep. His acceptance speech is on replay in my mind... I'm just truly amazed.

if you look at the states that are red now....
most of those states are the same states that it
should be encouraged maybe even the LAW for the
farmers to grow hemp and well if you are going there "weed"
to help save the economy....

all the fuel, fiber, medicine, foods and OILS that we could
grow and produce...well lets just say " i betcha " they would
turn a blueish green ;) in the very near future...

willie nelson would agree with me

in my mind that should be the "new deal" if you will 8)

Mate, I know that you (by which I mean many Americans) have been the victims of "reverse racism". But also please know that there are also many many conscious people around the world are able to separate a people from the actions of their government.

One Love
