Hello,
How can I create the effect of a crowd performing from a single sample of a human voice or clap ?
Thank you!

You could just double it up on a bunch of different tracks with slight delay, time stretch/compression and pitch change.
This still won't probably sound like a crowd since everything is basically one voice. One timbre. You need more variation to be convincing.

if you're doing this for the sake of sound designing, then yeah the above tips are the best rips you'll get. you may want to get several different clap sounds though as to create better dynamics and variations.
but if this is to add to a track quick and dirty, you're better off just searching for crowd samples through Google or FreeSound.
