Vista does nothing wrong in this case, Live does. In the end Ableton lists Vista 32-bit as supported OS but didn't provide proper support for it until now. That's what bugs me.
XP FTW. mine's been running great for 3.5 years, no OS rebuild, minimal virus detection, full web exposure and it stays on for days, with Live open.
It's not a problem of crashing, but of Live's performance (not Vista's). Besides, anything that makes Live crash on Vista makes it crash on XP (and not so seldom OS X) as well.

@Poster: nice smileys. I changed my signature pic just for you, buddy.
HAL: I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you.

for the past 5 minutes yes..
I'm not a one topic pony, his is growing to annoy me..
I know where he came from, read almost all his posts..
his only topic right now is to systematically blame or catch Ableton on mistakes..

meh.. leave mate, so did yer audience..
