Simon Pegg as Scotty could possibly be utter greatness, but I'm afraid so far this looks like - and I've said this before - James Bond Jr. for Star Trek.

Though that's not entirely a bad thing, James Bond Jr. was great for killing some time.

could anybody cut these actionfilms a bit faster, please?

man, they are only 10 scenes a second. i get endless bored.
why waste that space, i am guessing the cinema film format
comes at least with 25frames a second, so just
fill this just up with cuts of different scenes.

COME ON, MAN.
i am so hollow inside me and i am so very much disconnected from myself,
is it so hard to see that i will just stay in a constant state of epilepsy?
fuck.

now back to my place in front of my stroboscope

Yeah, I know what you mean. That and shaky camera in films. It can really add to the action, but I hate it when it's so fake (the director has obviously said to his cameraman... "that's not shaky enough! 500% more shake in this scene!"). It's just done to death now and makes me nauseous.

yes, shaky camera. this appears as a new trend in action films to me.

yesterday i was in the Bond movie.

it just was too much. it doesnt help i think.
next time i am filming a major hollywood blockbuster i will have to talk to the camera man.

Didn't Spielberg invent some mechanism or possibly even a camera for Saving Ryan's Privates, that shakes the lens when you push a button?

I blame NYPD Blue.

yeah man - Simon Pegg has probably gone mad or attained nirvana over that one - he's the supreme film geek and it's probably the role he was born to play

Eric Bana is going to be interesting too! 8)

edit: just watched the trailer!! 8O 8O 8O when's it out?

HA HA.. this post on that page has to be made up
Disgustng tripe... not believable and not even in the same reality as all that has gone before... this is a failure before it is born. I will not pay a cent to see it.

I too think the new Bond movie could have done with about 50% less shake. Very hard to follow at times.
