The Wall Of Sound!:(

Post by abort » Thu Nov 20, 2008 4:19 am

A lot of music that I'm hearing lately is just way to loud. Whats the benefit of compressing and maximizing every sound in the mix?

I just don't get why people would wright good music and then destroy it in the end.

Dude, there are people who speak English as a 4th language who make more sense than you. I believe whatever loudness you are referring to has inflicted you with some type of aphasia.

I did!

Sorry, forgot the smiley's. I love posts I don't understand, keep it the way it is. Obviously something is too loud for you, I just have no idea what it is. 300 channels of something.

Commercial tracks need to appeal to mass markets, and the masses demand everything sounding polished and tight, not bandy @rsed, just like they like thier apples red and rosy and polished without brown holes and bumps (awaits smutty gal jest...)
