I remember being excited when they first came out - you seemed to get a lot for your money. Price is down to £650.00 now -

- any thoughts ?

sound quality , DSP , Mackie emulation ?

... ahhh I remember now. There seem to be issues with mlan and Yamaha shying away from it - might explain the price drop.

I have one.

But it's now in a box!

That shouldn't be taken as an indictment: I just wanted a more portable setup.

It's a lot of kit in one box - sound card, digital effects, analogue mixer, control surface, MIDI interface, mic pre-amps... not to mention the half-decent VSTs that come with it. It's a bit of a bargain, if you need all that.

That said, I don't think I ever got the latency that I thought I should. Oh, and these days you might want a higher bit-depth / sampling rate...
