Multiple Hard Drives into USB HUB
Re: Multiple Hard Drives into USB HUB
yes, yes and sometimes.boraxx wrote:is it OK to connect more than one external hard drive to the hub at a time? is it ok to connect 3? am i affecting performance of the hard drives by doing so?
all the devices on the hub have to share the available bandwidth so if they run at the same time you wont get the same performance. If only one is running it should get full bandwidth.
Re: Multiple Hard Drives into USB HUB
Well, I never could get ONE usb drive to work well on a hub (I always get random disconnections - and yes, I've tried this with PCs and Macs alike), but it seems some people do. Hubs are cheap, so it probably doesn't hurt to try.boraxx wrote:hey guys
