the credit crunch is a product with its own branding and catch phrase orchestrated by the banks to generate wealth for the few by means of the many who pay the bill. but meh what you going to do....

Plus you'll have updated piece's to get you through the downturn that you might not have to pay for if things get that bad....Have a Nice Day!mkelly wrote:Currently waiting for updates to Mac Pro and Mac Mini (home entertainment unit). Also waiting for reviews of the Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 to see if it's worth getting.
Also going to look at a new car tonight.
I plan to beat the economic downturn with a two-pronged approach - inject needed cash back into the economy, and ensure that if the banks go tits-up that I have no money in savings to lose.
Just doin my bit.

This is exactly my mantra, except that I won't go nearly as far as having no money in savings. But, I have clearly defined plans to buy a shit ton of gear in the next few months. I spent $1000 today.mkelly wrote:I plan to beat the economic downturn with a two-pronged approach - inject needed cash back into the economy, and ensure that if the banks go tits-up that I have no money in savings to lose.

It shipped the today. I should have it soon! I've been dreaming about buying one of these things for over 4 years. It answers the age old issue of "I like the MultiFace II but it doesn't have preamps!" Well, here are three wonderful battery powered preamps that can be used to make a little extra money on the side doing audio for video work!
I am fucking soooo psyched!
