Unless your entire family is living in a studio loft with cubicle walls I don't see why she can't go spend some time in a common area like the living room for some hours while you work on music. It's great you are helping her out but I wouldn't let her get too comfortable or run your music room.
Don't be an enabler! We're trying to run a recession here and it's not a good time to team up with lazy people. Not saying she is, but if she isn't a go getting then you're going to have a squatter for quite some time.

At my last place, you could say that both my wife and I were living in my studio because the studio was in the damn kitchen. That was awful. I never got anything written because I had no private space to write, and a lot of the time there was food being made right behind me.
So happy to be in a new place with a dedicated studio room again!

uyuyuyuy, you make me afraid. isn't it more like "we're living in bad times, good to hear that there are people like you that help their friends". At least Jesus would have said so. Haha.
I'm all for helping friends in need, but without reviewing the thread, I think he said something like this happened with her before. There's people who have hard times and then there are people who make it a lifestyle.pepezabala wrote:beats me wrote:Don't be an enabler! God knows I'd be in a better place in life if some poeple in my life kicked my ass into survival shape a long time ago.
Oh, and NEVER say "stay as long as you need to".
