Glenn Miller FTW!

Man, I'm sorry. I'll delete the link. I just googled the song and linked whatever came up. My bad! Hope it's a false positive.

Man, I had to hold my tongue, but I won't rub it in, especially if you are on your work computer with that big looming deadline ahead. 8O

man, you got me good. the virus scan caught the initial files, but there's still a "You have a security problem" icon in my sys tray that uses Internet Explorer to call home and fake like it's a very official virus scan site. I'm not real worried, that's why we have IT people to fix this stuff. SHIT!! LOL life...

that had better be one motherfucking slamming track!!!

(scan... scan... scan... scan... scan... scan... scan... scan... scan... damn these huge drives!!!)

Beats - yep, viruses designed specifically to pick on Winblows.

I got something like that from Pitch Black's remix thing - false positive IMO

did you google the name of what it said it found? often if it is false then there will be others who've had the same - that's actually PCs strength - it's way easier to fix your own problems because there is always some dork out there who has experienced the same thing

nope, it's definitely a virus, check my post prior to this one. I found the files, but being a work machine I'm going to have IT delete them. it was just a matter of using the Task Manager to shut down processes one at a time until it went away (~tmpc.exe), I found 6 files timestamped at the time of fail, all with similar names.

good call on the search, it's this one:

sitting on my ass waiting at work, it's feeling like beer:30 Friday, I should get viruses more often!!

Great thread, and good vibe in the old'n times.. :)

My suggestion (though '32 actually not '34): The Duke with his most famous smash hit and dance floor filler.....
Badadam: It don't mean a thing...(If it ain't got that swing)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Don%27 ... t_Swing%29

I love Duke Ellington and listen to him often.

Strange personal anecdote: When I discovered Ellington for myself, I was heavily into the then big "Big Beat" thing, I really dugg Fat Boy Slim (and still do: very funky!). I immediately thought to myself: "Man this must be the Fat Boy Slim of the 30's..."
I still get that association today when I listen to either one, just that I would phrase it now in the reverse order... :)

Great thread. Don't know how I missed this gem.

It's hard to pipe in to the 1934 vibe when I'm struggling to remember where the fuck I was in December 2008, but I really dug that original Hitler track before the Goebbels RMX. It was the Bomb !

I'm a Cab Calloway man myself.
