any lesser known granular vst's?

Post by Johnisfaster » Sat Dec 13, 2008 8:08 am

I have quite a few of the usual suspects, theres tons out there I haven't tried though cause theres just too many I'd spend my whole life downloading and twiddling. anyone wanna recommend some lesser known granular vst's. plugs that can turn a sample into a spraying sound or stretch it out or munch n' mangle it and stuff.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

I use dblue stretch religiously as an effect. Assign a hold button on my novation controller to the toggle and a fader to the grain size and I've got fucking rad live PA abilities to "catch" sounds and granularly mess with them.

Also, Heizenbox was a nice plug made by a friend of mine, but I don't think he made many sales & it was discontinued before MacTels:
