The Misfits

The Misfits have to be the live band performance/experience Ive ever been to. Not only did they rock out for two and a half hours striaght with maybe a combined total 60 seconds of breaks, they stayed for an extra hour and a half to sign anything anyone wanted(they probably stayed longer but i left). If you ever get a chance to see them, go. So how many misfit fans are here?

I love the Misfits, but with Danzig. He wrote all their best stuff, 1977-1983. I seen a Danzig show about 3 years ago in Las Vegas and he was joined on stage by Doyle, one of the original guitarist. It was the closest to an original Misfits show IMO. I don't care for any of the new Misfits stuff.

Chalk one up to post Danzig. Sure they were young and wrote their best stuff when he was in the band etc. but Danzig is a well known douche bag of a human being, many stories to back that up, and as stated, and the band now are really cool guys. I mean how else do you get Marky Ramone, Dez and Robo from Black Flag playing in you band?

danzig is my least favorite misfits singer. I like his solo stuff better and i iike the misfits better with out him. Famous monsters and american pyscho are my favorite cds, I love both from start to finish. Scream, Helen, dust to dust, die monster die, dig up her bones, speak of the devil, black light, descending angels are all top notch songs...if they werent about horror movies, serial killers, dismembering your gf, zombies, demons and the devil they probably would have been #1s. this music is fun.

Well, I gave danzig another try and it still sounds like a drunk mush mouth with most recordings done in glenns anus. He is a douche.

Did you listen to the self titled Misfits album? With classic songs like:

She
Hollywood Babylon
Bullet
Horror Business
Teenagers From Mars
Night Of The Living Dead
Where Eagles Dare
Vampira
I Turned Into A Martian
Skulls
London Dungeon
Ghouls Night Out
Astro Zombies
Mommy Can I Go Out & Kill Tonight?
Die, Die My Darling
Earth A.D.
Devilock
Death Comes Ripping
Green Hell
Wolfs Blood

This is one of the all time classic albums.. I'm sure the New-Fits had to have play some of these songs at that show.
