like a kaosspad but then lets you change the pitch while keeping the tempo, (no puns please). something that lets you sample into some slots that can be triggered, blended, and sequenced. maybe something like the roland sp555 but cheaper, and if it's actualy possible on the kaosspad I'd like to know.

Can't say anything like that exists that I know of.

Interesting idea though.....

seriously this would be great in hardware, the kaosspad only changes pitch when you slow it down or speed it up

The Reaktor ensamble, BeatLookup by chris List does this rather well. and if your Reakor savy, you could edit it to your liking...

well, i'm using effectrix. works pretty good. low CPU, and stable. i use two in a row and have separate midi controls for each so they feed into each other. allows for extremely complex FX...
The KP3 is tight tho, but not sure how limited it is..

well. KP3. or any previous models.

or, spend a bunch of money for a few small mixers, some patch bays, a bunch of cables, and a huge conglomerate of FX units to feed each other back and forth in dub fashion.

can't think of any other products that compete in this area.... hmm....

KP3?

He uses two KP3's in conjunction with a live looper pedal. Does exactly what you need. you just have to know how to use it...

A certain level of genius is also required to do stuff like beardyman as well!

This video is awesome - it was filmed in the tiny indy cinema opposite my house : )

this is the weirdest thread. I think the op has a kaosspad. i think the op said that he needs something that changes pitch with out changing speed but that the kaoss pad only does this if you change tempo which the op does not want to do. it looks like the op does not want to use software as well and is looking for a hardware solution for this. what the hell does beardyman have to do with this?

i like beardyman

Beardy man is amazing, and what he does sounds horrible.

Um OP, why not just get an older cheap Roland sampler?
