Please don't release Live 8 now

Post by abletoff » Mon Dec 22, 2008 8:03 pm

Just got a Playstation 3 with Little Big Planet so no time to make music at the next level and, mostly, no more money 8)
Live 9 Suite, audio trackles (several audio tracks that crackle)

Broke here as well. Give us a month to recover from the holidays at the least.
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

I don't think you have anything to worry about since there is generally several months of beta testing announced on the forum going on before the release.

Beats is correct.

Last time out it was almost 3 months of beta testing. If Live 8 is announced tomorrow, March break/Easter would be the soonest it would be ready for purchase.

GTA4... The best rated game on the PS3. The game I bought the PS3 for..
I couldn't think of a more boring game. I dunno how they did it, but by the end of the game I started disliking the whole GTA concept. Been a fan since GTA 1.

Although I don't regret getting the PS3, this whole new console network gaming thing is becoming worse than gaming on windows. Since developers can now update the game, they don't bother getting it fully functional before they ship it.
And since they can charge for add-ons, they will! Case in point, 4£ t-shirts to wear in LittleBigPlanet. Or buy a 5€ condo in Sony's 2ndlife clone.
Or hell, Ship a game with Yoda and Dart Vader on the box and make people pay to unlock those characters.
Same crap is happening on the Xbox too...
Might as well be shopping for DAW's.

My friend gave me GTA4 about 3 months ago and I still haven't taken it out of the wrapper. :) I've found my taste doesn't always match that of the general gaming community.

I also have countless games that I've only gotten half way through before I just gave up. There's gradual difficulty and then there's just insanely difficult scenarios that they feel should just be there because it should be more difficult. F all that.

assuming it does, it seems to be getting weaker - when i looked earlier today £1 was equal to €1.05

not much between em now is it - far cry from the £1 = €1.4 we had 12 months ago
