(Free) SysEx utility for Windows?

Post by the_woof » Thu Jan 01, 2009 7:14 am

Happy new year all!

What I'm looking for is a sysex translator for Windows, preferably free. I want to do some simple stuff with my padKontrol in native mode, just triggering MIDI and Sysex messages from sysex messages coming in. I don't want to buy max (blew my holiday money on an electribe) and Pd has terrible/nonexistent sysex support on windows.

If Pd works with sysex on windows, please tell me how--I have no aversion to programming, I actually like working with Pd, it's just that it seems like by all accounts it doesn't work on windows.

Can you download the demo of max, do your thing in the 30 day trial period and then use the free runtime player?
