Yup, create a new account and start afresh to avoid getting obsessed with post counts.

Who am I kidding? I'm hot on your heels mate!

If you were to stop editing your existing posts you might acually get there ;-)

I think you're supposed to do a "mad props to neb" style thread. Not sure what the etiquette is there. Do a forum search on "mad props to neb" or something.

Works for me.
Yup, works for me as long as people behave as they would at a social event. Doesn't work for me when people post stuff that there's no way they'd say to someone's face in real life, but then that's the internet for you, unfortunately.

I also love this forum, and as annoyed as i get with sifting through the bullshit posts, i have learned more about recording in general here than anywhere else.

As for the accordion, i was playing a friends the other day, its got to be one of the hardest instruments to play. Even my cello and bagpipes are easier. So many buttons!

I saw an advert like this on a Berlin bus this morning:

The accordion uprising has started!

(the ad would've been even better if it played a nice wheezy chord every time the bus turned a corner :) )

My memory is hazy but didn't this forum used to have loads of random shit about music, that wasn't directly associated with Ableton.. then there was some sort of flame war, then Robert Henke told us all to stop pissing about (that old story about how a few ruined it for the rest of us) then it was strictly ableton for about 2 days.. and now I haven't read a post thats caught my attention in a while,.. but maybe I'm boring.
Oh yeah and people used to post up loads of free shit they'd been doing.. Did they all go away and form companies or something ?
To be honest I'm mainly writing tunes on this now

http://www.tony-b.org/

I have had major label interest from some of the biggest Tarnce labels around.
Thats was the other thing this forum used to have. Loads of tips on how to get that French House sound, and how to make great Tarnce music..

eeeh... what is TARNCE music? I see this word many times on this forum, first I thought it was a typing fault, but... ?

:D really cool and funny ! is that tarnce music?

anyway, I don't find this forum boring.

It is boring if you don't have anything specific to ask or to reply...

and when bored... turn internet off... and let's create music!

cheers
