Ableton Live 7 teachers near Connecticut

Post by Kenny Q » Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:43 am

I was thinking about taking an Ableton courses at Dubspot in NYC.

But was wondering if anyone someone can teach the same stuff for less (distance and $$$). I don't know anyone who uses Ableton Live here in Hartford CT.

Please reply with a private message.

Thanks,
Kenny Q

Thanks,
I think that it would be better for me to get 1 on 1 instruction.
I would really hate to travel to NYC on their schedule and pay over $1,000 per course but I may do it.

I read most of the owners manual during vacation last week but didn't have access to my laptop. I understand about 50 to 60% of it.

I'm going to check out the youtube vids soon.

If I don't get a hang of it or find some one to one help by Feb, I'll sign up for the class in NYC.

Not to brag or anything but I make more than a thousand bucks per gig.
My biggest problem is traveling about 3 hours each way.

Thanks.

I took one of the Dubspot courses in Feb/March.
After the course, I worked on some remixes with Brian Jackson in Brooklyn.
For those who live in the area, I highly recommend seeing Brian Jackson.

hey man, I remember you from a wedding I went to a few years back. I still remember that as being one of the most fun weddings I went to. You had the crowd rockin the whole night.

glad you're making the move to Live. It really is in a class all by itself!

Thank you very much. One of the main reasons for getting into Live is because I wanted to add heavier drums into old Soul and Classic rock songs.
