Can't believe no one mentioned "Modulations":

10 years old now but still interesting to watch. The Flaming Lips documentary is very good as well:

+1 DiG! and No Direction Home.

I found this one extremely inspiring, highlighting the career of a true unsung hero.

Tom Dowd & the Language of Music

This is what I really admire; a man who doesn't shout what he's about, but a man with such gifts . . .
HW : MacMini (OSX, 16GB),
HP ZBbook 15 (W7 64-bit, 32GB RAM)

Various musical\non-musical MIDI controllers

SW : Ableton Live 8.4.2 Suite (using MIDI only), M4L, Max6, Custom Max app
Cubase Elements 7, VEP5, Komplete9, SD2.2

A lot of good ones so far but I haven't seen these yet so:

Baraka
Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould
Heima (Sigur Rós)

I know I'm forgetting some but my memory is crap.

If it has not already been mentioned I would highly recommend August Rush.
I found it a truly inspiring film about music. Check it out, you won't regret it.

This documentary on the MC5 probably has to be ordered. Best documentary on a rock band I've ever seen, real life Spinal Tap Moments, and inspiring parts too.

Awesome thread!

Friday Night Lights (movie not series rubbish) - scored by Explosion in the Sky

Zidane - scored by Mogwai

Michfest 3 DVD - epic Punk Rock/Hardcore/Indie, tonnes of awesome bands playing at the festival, the live footage is awesome.

Mush Records Tour DVD - cLOUDDEAD at their peak, nuff said

Fugazi Instrument - already seen it mentioned, breath taking though

Hip-Hop - Beyond Beats And Rhymes
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... mb=1&dur=3
Looks at homophobia and sexism in modern American hip-hop culture.

Anyone have any more that are on YouTube or Google Video, and worth watching?
