And suddenly the monome 64 waiting list of hundreds has dropped down to 1 dude named Steve. But that's only because Steve's internet connection is down. Maybe they'll have a 2 for 1 deal. They're going to have to at this price.

USA prices are ex tax so in Europe (jnc tax) it will probably be about the same or slightly less in Euro's. I think they'll sell quite a few.

Akai said that the mpd24 would cost 299 when it was released. they say 399 so im guessing it will be at least $100 cheaper than that.

it's pretty likely they are talking about list price. and who charges list prices?
