...and the Pitch Envelope now also offers the same full list of possible destinations as the LFO. this means it is actually an AUX envelope...

think: short looping envelope for an oscillator, modulate global time via Aux Envelope and welcome to the bouncing ball sound :-)

You can now automate algorhythm! Glitch-tastic. Cool.

yeah that looks cool. wondering whether it will interpolate smoothly tween the algorithms. twould be nice.

just a question. if any company would do it it would be you fellers...honestly just seing how you integrated ams files into Live is super impressive. Ive been at the point where i really dont need any more features in Live ( well besides Max for Live ). I just like seeing the way you integrate them.

why not? sounds reasonable to me, after all an algorithm is just routing. :)

the very second that max for live hits my computer i'll port my interpolated fm synth, after all interpolating stuff in max with pattr is fairly easy.

i'll even consider re-doing my flash / liveapi operator patch morpher with bi-linear interpolation as a celebration

I can tell Robert is as in love with this Synth as the rest of us Operator heads. It's really nice to see.

It was already one of my favourite synths. Now it will be truly awsome.

Thanks Robert, and Ableton. This feels like a gift to those of us who already bought Operator. Dying to try it out (with my modwheel  )

This is beyond my expectations of an second generation operator synth.

Good Job.

Totally. Wicked operator update. I didn't really think that would happen.

I'd really like to see a sampler update as well, but come to think of it, MaxforLive will likely have a plethora of cool sample mangling tools anyways.

The new improved Operator looks really good. I hope I'm right in thinking that it will be available in the basic Live 8, and not just the Suite version.
