Share your musical changes which influenced you.

For me, my recent purchase of Basic Replay has seriously affected me. 100+ listens in a few days...

I have always loved Basic Channel, M-Series, etc. R&S was cool too. Burial Mixes? Fantastic.

Basic Replay goes straight to the source of all that inspiration and for the love of God, this is QUALITY MUSIC......

I think this CD has turned me into "collect anything and everything connected with the Basic Channel duo"

What purchases affected you so strongly?

Seeing this played live (probably for one of the first times they played that song) in a local venue back in 2000, 2001....since then I´ve made a point to catch this band whenever they play, just to hear that song again.

Opened up so many musical doors for me.

So my life-changing purchase was probably one concert ticket.

I agree. I love BOC, especially MHTRTC and Geogaddi. Took me a while but their new stuff is growing on me too. It's interesting, because I enjoy their stuff so much but it's as far from the music I do as imaginable.

Skinny Puppy - Last Rights. First time I heard music that made me go "wtf is this crazy beautiful noise". I knew then I had to get into electronic music.
