Recommend soft synth similar to Rob Papen's Predator/Albino

Post by MFaulkner » Thu Jan 22, 2009 1:23 am

I'm looking for some soft synths similar to Rob Papen's Predator & Albino.

I absolutely love the sounds that these soft synths can make for all types of house music but have been unable to find anything similar/comparable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Rob Papen's Blue. Could even be considered the best of the bunch.

There's a few products from Cakewalk. Rapture and Z3TA come to mind. There's also Zebra from U-He, the Novation V-Station, and Sylenth1.

There's also the Native Instruments line of SoftSynths such as Massive, FM8, .etc

I've heard of those NI products but I'm going to have to check out those Cakewalk products as well as the Zebra, V-Station, and Sylenth1

Thanks a ton for the great suggestions!

Question, if you like the sound of these synths, why do you need to find something similar?

Zebra and Z3ta are both excellent synths. I have always heard Zebra described to me as a cheaper Virus :-) I have never used a virus though so I cant back that up.
