ahah!

I asked some questions to customer services, they just send me to these precious faq!

I keep in memory:
What do I specifically get when I buy Max for Live?
You basically get full Max/MSP/Jitter functionality inside Ableton Live. Audio and MIDI I/O is handled exclusively by Ableton Live. Stand-alone use of Max for Live components is not possible.

it gives info about ... THE price no?!
I guess.... VERY EXPENSIVE :-(

What does sharing Live Sets cost?
During beta stage, sharing Live Sets is completely free for everyone. What happens afterwards depends on a lot of variables, for example the storage and bandwidth costs that Ableton has to cover.

hmmm

So, let's say I bought Operator this week (for the hell of it). Would the cost of that be deducted from the upgrade cost to L8 Suite DL?

No, not the full cost. Likely 20 or 30 dollars would be deducted. I'm not sure what it is this time, but when Live 7 Suite came out, I owned sampler and operator, and my upgrade to the suite had 50 dollars off because the two of them (30 for sampler 20 for operator I'm guessing). So I sold both of them off and purchased the suite, which ended up costing me only 60 dollars more than what I made from selling operator and sampler.

So no, it would likely not be worth it for you to buy operator if you were going to buy the suite later.
