What is the reason of closing?

believing layo and richard, personal reasons.

and i do believe, what else do they want to achieve...?

to me it is impossible to ever top that place up. everything coming afterwards will be a copy. the DJ booth alone is unbeatable and can't ever be more perfect. that accounts to the rest as well, sound (beyond everything else ever experienced!) the bar (including AKA!) the staff, the toilets, the FREE hygenic water maschine... the list goes on and on and on... oh like serving free hot cups of tea in the cue in some of the freezing winters, for example that is the spririt... simply not matched.

a world leading electronic music temple closed.

Too bad,
Always had the plan to visit someday, but that someday will never come :(
But they both are in the business for a long long time, so i can understand if you would spread your wings and search your happiness elsewhere.
We all grow older and get different interests.

+1

and yes they are both lovely down to earth people living and loving what they do... this was one of the major strong points of the club, instead of owners having a detached management running the club and themselfs enjoying the money on some hacienda... REAL DJs.

It's like the generation JACK(summer of love) are searching for some new paths in their lives.
Seeing a lot of clubs dissapear and recordstores.

Wonder what richard is gonna do now, considering i am talking about the same richard (mr c) as you are subfunk?

He's moving to the USA, Los Angeles I think.

He's selling most of his vinyl collection as well, or was as he listed it on eBay.
