Reverse digital delay on a clip / sound.

Post by DDCCD » Sat Jan 24, 2009 3:38 pm

What is the quickest way to be able to explore digital delay recorded to a clip?... and being able to "reverse" it and try that sort of spacy thing?

I see that if I send DDL to a specific track/clip, and then "freeze" it, the DDL is not recorded. However, if I insert a DDL for that track, the "freeze" does seem to capture the DDL, and then I can reverse it, etc.

Am I doing this the hard way?

If you reverse your clip, add a delay to it, and record that output to a new track, then reverse THAT clip sot hat it's playing forward again, your delays will be backwards.
