How to make deep vocal effects.

Im looking into incorporating vocals into my mixes but I want to make something along the lines of Showtek Colours of the Harder Styles and Basshunters intro to Russian Privjet.

What can I do to come close to these effects. Any ideas?

damn...horrible sound...but to the question: the vocals seem just to be processed with delay and reverb

If you turn up the feedback on Live's chorus plug you can get some of that 'croaky' effect, and yeh delay and reverb.The more extreme effects can be done with warping, stretching the time (moving a later warp marker closer to one) in a vocal clip during vowel pronunciation

The Chorus worked nicely. Any more Ideas guys. And I already get the reverb and delay... (please Im not that dumb) but more to creating the pitch element without being cheesy (I dont have the deepest voice ):

seems like the voice in the examples is a low voice.
ah, well, if you want to pitchshift, then you can transpose your vocal clips down a ways, but doing that more than -3 gets to sounding cheezoid. Doing that realtime would require an actual pitchshifting plug with formant adjustment (like Antares), or a harmonizer producing an octave lower.

The vocals remind me a lot of the vocalist for Laibach. He just has a really deep voice. I gotta try that Chorus feedback trick though...

Why would you wanna do anything that Basshunter as done? He's dance music's equivalent of Vanilla Ice.
i have to say i really like this, it is funny, uses some neat vocal fx, making it both a little scary and tongue-in-cheek

Hi MetalCube... you can do such vocals with Waves Plugin "Ultrapitch / Shift" ... It's an effect inside the Waves DX / VST Plugins.

I had the pleasure of meeting Drakkuer, (sp?)...about 15 years ago at a Record signing at Wax Traxx. I had airbrushed a shirt of his first album cover. His voice really is that deep.
That put on a great show at the Park West that night and I sat next to Al Jourgenson, who proceeded to mock the Drakk's voice the whole night.
Nice guy. Funny though, he's only about 5'2".

Thats what works. Antares bundle sounds like what I need (Looks like I got some work to do for ten days) cuz I cant afford the 600 price tag. But the demo will suffice if I can record enough in time.

Hahahaha, that is awesome! I love Laibach! The irony runs so thick with that crew...
