I have done thi for a long time myself. Last week i did it at a gig to play some distorted organ. If you know hwo reason works and you take a look at the external instrument it is pretty selfexpleining=) (i suck in english:p)

works great. never had any real problems with it..

Why would you want to send audio to Reason?

I guess the External Instrument Device is not included in LiveLE, since I can't find it...

Is there another way to use Reason?..actually I mostly use Reason as a slave with Live to set all my drum tracks and a few Reason Instruments occasionally. The problem was how to get audio into Reason!

Whenever you open an audio track (Iam not certain but I guess it also goes for Midi Tracks) it is set by default in the "Audio From" preference in track view.

Sorry..yes...have to admit , I am wrong on this. I did a little reading and realized that the External Instrument Device is different than the External In I was refering to. In fact I never used it before because I just do straight routing of Reason to Live.

I know how to do all of this, but have you had to adjust your latency at all for reason. There use to be a timing issue with Reason and Live, and to be honest, I haven't used Reason since that came into play. In the video, the sync was perfect between Reason and Live. Is that the case in your setup?

One more thing, here is a video on how to set up a Drum Rack for ReDrum:
