Philip Jeck is amazing.
Had fallen asleep a couple of hours ago.
When I woke up I switched on Last.fm radio and *swooooosh* there was Philip Jeck coming out of the speakers.
The whole Vinyl Coda II thing.
Extremely stunning and attractive soundscapes.
Like it very much what he's creating.
jazz is a woman's tongue in your mouth
cool, licking you slowly, revolving around
inside your cheeks.
letting you know who's come to visit.

not much into DJing, though I love what theses guys do :
Amon tobin, though it's definitely not the DJing part of him I like the most.
DJ Spooky, for the music and the writtings.
DJ Dam's, but unfortunetaly this guy just plays once a year, somewhere lost in the woods. first time I heard him, I was blown away. he mixed for 5 or 6 hours. I remember sitting for 3 or 4 hours just listening to his mix very deeply, mouth wide open, not believing what I was hearing.
I'm sorry there is nothing of him to share, or show, or anything, it's a pity, really.

Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

DJ Numark, Bad Boy Bill and Donald Glaude.
Read this book "this is your brain on Music", highly recommend it and one thing it covered was the significance of the music we fell in love with as kids or teenagers in terms of developing musical understanding and appreciation. Those three got me into this and changed my life forever.
