I'm definately a fan. I get a lot of use out of kombinat and roughrider, and ronin can be fun from time to time

4-6/10, it depends. but imho they invest more in style of their frontends than in substance of their content/programming.

Reverence (now called AD reverb) and Fluid (one of the best chorus out there) are great for the money.
Dub Station is no UAD Space Echo, but also good for it's price. Ronin is pretty good too.

I say they are great value for money plugins. Not the best on the market, but punch above their weight for the price and better than what comes as an in the box DAW plugin. I'd say they typically are 6-8/10 and value wise 9/10.

Reverence/AD Reverb is a really good cheap soundalike of the EMT Plate 140 in the UAD plugins. Fluid is the best chorus I've heard except for Dimension D in UAD.

That's because Oregon is populated by failed Californians so they need to feel like they accomplished something.

More like because it's surrounded by powerhouse states like WA and CA. When so many goddamn things are manufactured out your back and front door, from music, software, etc, to movies, anything locally produced is an instant novelty.

GUI guy is from OR, the other guy who does the actual coding is from the midwest I think. Glad everyone else digs on Reverence, only thing I own by them as of now, and it's pretty sweet.
