What is a good DJ mixer for ableton.

Post by MetalCube » Thu Feb 26, 2009 8:49 pm

Furthering my ability to play live I am looking for a dj midi controller/ mixer. Is there any recommendations from the Ableton community on which is affordable and a good piece of hardware (I know there is a trade off with price) 4 channels would be nice but I would settle for less.

Trylooking at the Faderfox LV2, insanely thought out, i use 2 for djing live and tehre isnt anything in live you cant control with these.

Only other option for me is the Jazzmutant Lemur

+1 I have 3 faderfox units (2 LV2s and a DJ2 for the crossfader). It's an extremely flexible and utterly awesome setup!

+1 again.

Try it, the faderfox is a little hard to explain in full, nor would you believe the full potential if i wrote you a book on everything it is capable of doing.

If you buy 2 x lv2's though, you will very quickly be thinking "WOW"

Did you know that speedy J uses 2 macs, Xone 3d & 2x LV1's????
