Dammit, I waited and waited and waited for the mini to be updated and last week I finally caved in and ordered a new PC desktop.

Fuck man, I still want a mini too, but it's gonna be hard to justify at this point.

Wow, color me surprised. I thought it was pretty well guaranteed that the Mini was never going to see an update, but this is great news! It would have been a crime to discontinue these.

why would they put firewire on a mini but take it away from the macbooks/pros?

MacPro = a bit fail for me

Graphic card option = poo

Even the ATI 4870 which is an ok card has one DVI and one of those stupid mini DVI things that you have to buy an extra cable for to run two moniotrs (what crap is that)

No Esata = boo hiss hiss

Firewire = will it still be texas instruments (here's hoping so)

Processors = really expensive if you want to go anything other than the base

Ram = finally got it right with pricing

PCIe slots = only 3 pcie slots availalbe was 4 * One PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot * Two PCI Express 2.0 x4 slots

top model of early 2008 macpro vs early 2009 macpro = not hat much faster looking forward to barefeats to do some testing

No SSD option on the Hard drives

Still no blue ray support on the super drive

Mac mini looks cool
Imac bit meh

lol....damn, they snuck up on me while I was busy working!! Anyone think it's worth the extra $400 to get the 3.06 gHZ?
